Limitations of Game Theory

John H. Holland, in his well-known book Emergence: From Chaos To Order, actually points out two limitations of game theory.

1. Plays can enumerate all possible statements and define strategy for each action.

2. Plays can learning by doing.

Two Ways of Predicting a Phenomenon

There are two ways to predict the occurrence of a phenomenon. One is to collect all data while the other is to construct building blocks.

Weather forecast and board games are the two examples.
